CityMaps.com is the first app to combine all the subway information you rely on with the real time business information you care about. CityMaps shows all subway lines, upcoming train times, and service change updates every 10 minutes so you’ll get there on time.
AC3: Then CityMaps shows you what’s happening where you are, right now. The bar on the corner just tweeted an awesome happy hour special. And the comedy club up the street just posted a Groupon deal for 87% off. A quick check of the menu for the French restaurant down the block, and with a click your OpenTable reservations are made. Decide to take in a movie after dinner and you can easily buy tickets with up-to-date times and trailers, linked to Fandango. Because after all, that's why New Yorkers take the subway in the first place. To get you that next great restaurant, museum or show
With CityMaps you’ll get all the real-time subway info you need, but when you’re getting off the subway, CityMaps is just getting started.

can't find this app, what phone is it for?
I've begun to regularly use and LOVE CityMaps.
I'm not sure who you are, but thanks for being you!
Am also in love with CityMaps. Whenever I'm visiting NYC, I fire it up. Hoping they expand to the West Coast soon!
Used Citymaps twice in a couple of hours yesterday. Easy, useful and even fun.
This city maps thang is really cool!
This is the ron popeil website. Too bad there isnt a MOBILE VERSION. I went to the website and it asked for an email to tell me when the mobile version is availale.
We need this most on our mobiles. It's the best! F.L.
This is fantastic, when are you developing for Android?
I really like this program a lot!
This guy here is awesome and talented. keep it up!!
This is so much cooler than all the other maps. I get to know the Subways and all the cool shops in the city. AWESOME!
I do like the map style/interface, but from a functional standpoint how is this any better than or even different from Google Maps?
@Robert H, a few examples are menus, reservations, deals and tweets outside stores, and the ability to filter the map based on category. If you can't tell the functional differences between Google Maps and CityMaps I would suggest you spend some more time using it.
@Robert H. You can't be serious...
Haha sorry for stirring up some trouble. Thanks for the explanation Adam. I can easily get reviews and menus via Google Maps (yes, it just takes me to an external site but why should I care as long as it's getting me the info I need?) - but you're right that the reservations, deals, and Twitter integration are nice additions that didn't really catch my attention initially despite being mentioned in the video.
Stick to building maps like Google or Mapquest. I can find stores or restaurants so this app is pretty well useless and has little to do with using the actual subway. Are there any contests for Maps and reservations at restaurants - could be relevant? Tweeting too? Talk about over using unnessary technology. Hey could you link the maps to my Starbucks Card so it will update my points when I buy a coffee?
Oh wait, can you tie it to how many miles I've walked like the Nike App so I know how many calories I've burned while walking to all these reservations Ive made? Maybe you can tie it to Facebook so I can update what I'm eating and poke someone on the way home.
Stick to the Subway mapping - the point of the contest. Who the heck in voting for you anyway - seems like it might be a bit fixed and is probably only people in the company voting like most iphone apps.
It's a wonderful and practical tool! THANKS CITYMAPS!
amazingly Apptastic!!!!!!!!!
Using this app after Google Maps was like watching color TV for the first time!
I love this idea! This app seems like something I could really use!
